Randy and Rose dance, teach and cue choreographed ballroom dance -- ballroom dancing with a difference! Choreographed Ballroom, or Round Dance, takes all the fear out of ballroom dance -- each dance is choreographed and a cuer tells everyone the steps. Everyone dances the same steps at the same, going around the dance floor.
We have over 18 years' experience teaching choreographed ballroom dance. We learned to round dance in 1984 and began teaching and cueing in 1986. For the next ten years, we cued and taught for setatveral square and round dance clubs in and around Olympia, Washington. We took a 13-year "sabbatical" from dance beginning in 1996, but returned to dancing, teaching, and cueing in 2009. We currently teach private and group lessons in Washington, teach at state and national conventions, and spend our winters dancing in Mesa, Arizona.
We belong to Round-A-Lab and ICBDA and are BMI & ASCAP licensed. We have choreographed both Washington & Oregon Rounds of Month. 15.We taught and cued at the Golden State Square Dance Festival and the Alaska State Square Dance Festival in 2016. We have showcased and taught in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 USA West conventions, and showcased and taught at the 2014 & 2015 Nationals. We have also been awarded ‘Round of the Quarter’ and RDTASC “Round of the Month” for our phase 3 waltz “The Best of Life”.
